Infernalist: Demon Form ED/Contagion DoT

I wanted to tinker with Demon Form, especially how to stay in Demon Form indefinitely, and I wanted to test how ED/Contagion play out in PoE2, so I combined both into a single build.

For now this is a rough draft, as I'm still in the middle of finishing the campaign in cruel, but so far it's a quite decent experience.

Build idea:
- Demon Form grants +5 to all spell skills while in Demon Form, and DoT damage from ED/Contagion really likes additional levels
- Increased spell damage per every stack of Demonflame
- For now I'm opting for stacking strength for +life, which gives a little bit of leeway in terms of tanking damage, and stacking ES as the main defensive layer, but I also might try out going full ES or even Mind over Matter and stacking mana

Caveats of Demon Form:
- Disables both your main hand + off-hand item, which results in quite a significant loss of various stats
- Disables your Minions
- Demon Form rapidly drains your life, and without "Mastered Darkness" it can only be used in short bursts
- In long, scripted boss fights the constant life drain becomes an issue, and you have to end it prematurely in order to save life flask charges
- CI is not available
- So far 0 support gems for the tag "Shapeshifting", and most, if not all "Buff" support gems don't work with Demon Form, which seems to be a bug

Damage rotation:
The whole build is based around buffing ED through Minion Pact and spreading it via Contagion while getting %-based HP on kill from the passive tree to keep sustaining Demon Form when fighting any form of trash mobs.

As for the steps:
1. Contagion to prep the spread of ED on kill + slowing mobs
2. Dark Effigy
3. ED, which will drain the Effigy's HP through Minion Pact for 40% more damage
4. Despair, if the mobs are tough or facing a boss
5. Now you just wait until the buffed ED DoT runs out and repeat from step 1

Things to remember:
- The important part is to actually aim + hit for targets suffering from Contagion and/or hit single-targets with ED, because nothing is more annoying than going through the prep work and just miss with the fully-buffed ED
- If the buffed ED hits you have to hold your horses and do nothing but dodge or casting Despair: this isn't a click&spam build. The "only" thing you're doing is buffing 1 ED cast + spreading it, nothing more, nothing less







Further ideas to be tested:
- Going all-in into life + life regen on tree and items to counter the life degeneration of stacking Demonflame as high as possible by speccing out of "Mastered Darkness"

Mathil has devised a build which optimizes time in Demon form - it is kinda busted atm, if you wanna hop on the hype train while it lasts.
