Distilled Ire

Hello there ! I tried to use an distilled ire on a waystone to see what it will do. Seeing the modifier I didnt modded it but when i closed the window my distilled ire have disapear without giving me any buff/debuff on my waystone.

Is it normal that if you don't use it it will disapear anyway or what ?

I looted another distilled and found my distilled ire in it !
