Vaal Facorty t15 - attacked and killed by nothing

Game is having lag spikes. Approx 10 mins into the run, I opened a door and killed the initial enemies. I backed up around the corner and was fine. No ground damage or anything. My character became sluggish in responding. I began to take damage as if I was being hit. No targetable enemies in sight. I moved around a bit and took more hits then died. On ps5
