Legacy of the Vaal quest in Act 3 Cruel bugged.

During a Trial of Ascendancy i dropped the "Large Soulcore" to free some space for loot and it immediately disappeared. Now i can't to complete the quest to progress. Tried to retrieve it at the Jiquani's Sanctum, but the boss is not dropping it anymore. Can't still put it in the Stone Altar at the Infested Barrens but nothing happens.
I'm desperate that i can't procceed at all now.

I haven't mucked around with dropping quest items like this to see where to retrieve them, but have you tried talking with Alva in town? She might be holding onto it.

Someone who reported dropping the quest reward for Una's Lute in act 1 mentioned that the dialogue option for taking the quest reward was scrolled out of view by other dialogue options. If Alva's holding onto the quest item, it should be in the section for quest dialogues--the top right of the npc's window, above the Buy/Sell option. It may need to be scrolled into view.

Thanks, the option is available but she is just congratulating me that i did it, but no Soul Core. Tried it even in normal, but it doesn't work at all.
