I accidently gave my steam client key away. POE2

I bought one of the early access packs before I realized I was given a key for money spent in POE1. I wanted to let my friend play but I accidently gave them my steam client key in my excitement of providing them with the fun I've been enjoying. Now they cant login through steam or buy the early access pack on their steam client. Is there any way to fix this issue? Or do they have to download the client from the website or epic now?

Be sure to include your Path of Exile account name (including four-digit discriminator) as well as the names of a few of your characters so that we are best able to look into things with you.
Please note that the steam client key does not grant Early Access in and of itself, as that would require an early access key. The client key simply adds the game client to the storefront game library. They would need to purchase early access and make sure the Path of Exile account they purchased their early access on is then linked to their Steam account.
