PC controller issues

I switched to using a controller as it felt better than the WASD movement however I had some issues:

1. I'm using a dualsense controller on PC and R1/R2 do not seem to work while connected via BT but works fine using USB.
2. Auto aim seems to be hit and miss, some spells do not target the current monster you are facing but will rotate my character in the direction of the left thumbstick completely missing the mob if you are strafing backwards. The spells I have noticed it on is: freezing salvo, magnetic salvo, voltaic mark. I havent played too much so I am sure there are more spells that do this.

Edit have found pain offering does this aswell, it will trigger and go on cd but the spell wont actually have worked.
