Chayula's Grasp Rare Finisher Effect - Not removing the ground corruption effect

Hi guys,

This is happening on POE2.

I have recently purchased the Chayula's Grasp Rare Finisher Effect because the default effect triggers my trypophobia and makes me want to gauge my eyes out. However, I have noticed that even when the effect works. It does not remove the ground of corruption effect. Which is what triggers my trypophobia.

How can I remove this ground corruption effect?
