I did everything I could and all I get is general answers. Thats not enough.

I contacted GGG by E-Mail three times now and this is my third forum post in the last 3.5 weeks.

The problem I have seems to be simple, but it apparently is not.

The Mail address linked to my PoE account is pretty damn old (my account is pretty damn old as well) and does not exist anymore. I need to change my E-Mail address, because I cant do anything that requires e-mails, especially right now I wanna link my accounts (PC, XBox) and play the EA of PoE2 on both plattforms (I of course bought EA on both plattforms and wanna use the crossplay and crossprogression feature).

Since changing the mail address requires the confirmation of a link sent to the old mailaddress, I have no chance to do that. My old adress, as I said, does not exist anymore.

Thats why I contacted GGG here in the forums and also via mail.

In the forums the response is always: "contact support via mail" and when I do that I receive no answer.

I know its busy right now, I get that...but hey, its 3.5 weeks and just wanna link my accounts. I paid for both EAs, I have a PoE account for 10+ years now and all I wanna do is change my goddamn mail address. Could it be that hard?

Pls help me guys, I would really, really appreciate it!

Unfortunately, we aren't able to discuss or handle account related requests on the forums so if you have already emailed you will need to wait for someone to get back to you I'm afraid.
Would it not help others if we dicussed this on the forums maybe? Just tell me what I need to do. It cant be that complicated right?

Going on waiting 5 weeks on my end. I regret purchasing the Liberator of Wraeclast package.
I got an e-mail from GGG Support about 10 or so days ago, where they asked me if I tried everything to recover my old, non-existing e-mail. I mean, I already did that and told them I did that, but them asking this is kind of ridiculous I thought since the website I had my mail address from is down for years. They know this.

I am here and I can give them any information they ask for. I would even take a pic of my passport for them, make a video about why I wanna change my mail adress or whatever else they would need to let me change that.

But nothing. Its so disappointing. I dont know why I purchased PoE2 EA twice. I feel like an idiot now...

Same here, explained everything in my first email over a month ago, gave every piece of information needed to prove it was my account.
First response after 10 days "have you tried getting your email back"... MATE, it was 10 years ago, yes I tried, now please unlink my steam account, I don't care about my characters.
Next email 15 days later, "we can get your account back, from which country did you first create your account and what is your current IP address?"

WTF IS THIS SHIT?! What is my current IP gonna prove? It changes every 24 hours.

Answered the stupid questions anyway, and reiterated that I just want them to unlink my steam account, I don't care about anything on my old account.

No answer for 10 days now...

This support is utter garbage. And I won't be waiting for them to reply. I'm not spending a dime on this company.
