technical problem poe2 act3 coop

Me and my friend were playing cop in act three doing the legacy of the vaal quest i telported to his location while he placed the so called "large soul core" when my screen loaded the soul core was visible in the altar although i had no progress in the quest and cant acces the location that is supossed to be unlocked i tried many different things like restarting the game and nothing works. If you cant fix that i demand atleast a refund with sincere apologies.
