Trial of Sekhemas: can't port back in if you port out

The portal in town doesn't work for porting back in. Portal animation shows in town but is unclickable. Tried going in by going back to Sekhemas location, but it just prompted me to put in a new Djinn Barya. I tried logging out etc. I also had a friend in there, when he opened a portal, I couldn't click it. I tried to port to him using the icon but it said sanctum has already been opened.

Overall, I couldn't go back to open my chests.
