Act 3 Sun Temple Boss Checkpoint

During the Act 3 Sun temple before you fight the boss there is a checkpoint. When you die from the boss and resurrect to the last saved checkpoint it puts you back at the very beginning of the temple on the first floor. While you can teleport between checkpoints in the temple for some reason if you try to teleport to the boss checkpoint it puts you back on the first floor. Leaving you with the only option of teleporting to the second floor and then having to run the floor all over again.
