Breach Splinters - how many maps for Breachstone?

How many maps you need to farm enough Breach Splinters for Breachstone?

For me it about 10-15 splinters for 1 map.
Is that intended to complete 20-30 breach maps to get Breachstone, to complete (trying...), to get points, to get more splinters drops?
