Poor customer service and refund.

Hello dear GGG family, I am having a difficult time with the support team and it feels like I am not being taken seriously. I have made a purchase prior to early accsess to participate in the early access but I made the purchase in game and apperently this doesnt count as steam purchase.

Anyways, I contacted support probably a few hours after the purchase for a refund planning to make the purchase on steam after getting the refund. Support team replied in a day asking for some details regarding the purchase and my account. Gave them all the info they need and then silence. Saw it in the news that the support team is overwhelmed with requests, thats totally understandable. Anyways I v got a reply after 2 weeks saying that:

"I'm afraid we're not able to grant your request in this case, as we're only able to consider a refund or exchange when requested within 48 hours of the purchase being made, and the contents of the pack remain completely untouched (including points and Path of Exile 2 access)."


I will make the purchase again, but I need to do it on steam and apperently when u buy things in game it doesnt count as steam purchase.

How can support team expect ppl to not touch anything when the whole purpose of the purchase is to participate in the early access and it takes them weeks to get back.

Btw non of the keys are claimed nor points spent. I did not touch anything knowing that it may cause problem.

What is going on, is this how things come to now?

I've taken a look into this and it looks like you did make your purchase via Steam. Can you please clarify what you mean by "I need to do it on steam and apperently when u buy things in game it doesnt count as steam purchase"?

Refund requests are checked into on a case by case basis. If we've already got back to you regarding your request them I'm afraid that your request was already reviewed and if it was determined you were not eligible for a refund then I apologise if this was not the outcome you were hoping for.
What I mean is that when you purchase things with real money in game, regardless of the platform you use to connect the game, you make the purchase directly from GGG or whatever I dont know maybe tencent. I know this becuase before contacting GGG I requested for refund from steam and they said "You have to contact the developer since you have made the purchase from them."

Thats the point here, how is this even possible, I was asked for details and for 2 weeks with no reply the second one said we can't.
