Have a given away a key I shouldn't have?

Hey guys, I bought the supporter pack, where I should have a free key for a friend.
The only place I found a key was here: https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/early-access So I gave the Steam Client Key to a friend, but afterwards I noticed the following text: " Is it bad I gave that key to a friend or will this have any negative impact on me? That key is just intended to grant access to the Steam client, which some prefer over the standalone client. What you did won't cause any harm - but it won't give them a PoE 2 license, either.

Hey there, Exile.
To further clarify, if you've given away your Steam Client key and another player has already redeemed it, you will not be able to add Path of Exile 2 to your Steam library and can only play the standalone client. The person who has redeemed your client key will be able to download the game on Steam, but will not be eligible to participate in early access. I hope this clears things up for you. |
