Unlink My Steam Account Please (day 35+)

Hello,

First of all happy New Year to everyone.
I am having an issue with POE where somewhere somehow back in the past my POE1 account was connected to Steam. I never did or authorized that. And as a matter of fact I never played POE1. I was a Diablo player back then. Now, when I actually gave in, bought the Liberator supp package, and want to play the game... I can't connect my Steam account to my actual POE2 account.

I have tried messaging support one week before the game launch to help me with the information to unlink my Steam account. And I never got a helpful response.

The only responses I ever got were:

Hi there,

Thank you for the message. We may be able to help with this. Can you please confirm for us your Path of Exile account name (including the 4-digit discriminator) and the names of a few of your characters?

Thank you again.

Kind regards,
Krish

Every time I have responded with the same answer, saying that I don't even know how I have this account linked and that I only have one character on this account:
Arhandjel Level 44 Elementalist

At this point I am having by far the worst customer experience of my life. All I want is to unlink my Steam account so that I can actually link it to MY actual account and play the game I paid $400+ for out of respect to the people that have developed it and because I love it.

QUESTION:
Does anyone know what can I do to have my Steam account unlinked? Should I write to Steam? Should I write to Yahoo? What steps can I take to unlink the account that at this point even from legal perspective I didnt authorize the linking of and now its preventing me from playing the game?

I appreciate any and all help.

I'm afraid we aren't able to assist with account-related issues via the forums. Please contact us at support@grindinggear.com so we can look into this with you.

If you've already contacted us via email at support@grindinggear.com then you'll need to wait for the appropriate team member to get back to you. We appreciate your patience!
That's the whole problem. If you actually took the time to read my post you would see that I have been waiting for 35+ days, and so far I have received numerous same responses asking me the same god damn thing to which I have responded to and so far nothing has happened.
We're currently handling a large volume of support requests. If you've already contacted us via email at support@grindinggear.com then as mentioned you'll need to wait for the appropriate team member to get back to you. We appreciate your patience!
This is unacceptable. Inappropriate. And highly unprofessional. Its exactly the 37th day of me asking the same thing. Receiving numerous SAME replies now both on the forum and in my email inbox. I will gather all the information and go public with it if the issue is not resolved by the end of this week. Maybe I can get my account banned and then I'll also have my Steam unlinked.
Please note that sending multiple duplicate requests will not result in your issue being resolved more quickly, but will more likely cause further delays by creating more work for our team. If you've sent us the requested information please be patient and wait for the appropriate team member to get back to you. Please be assured that we are working as quickly as possible and will get back to you as soon as we are able to do so.
Put yourself in my shoes dude... My whole vacation is ruined. I looked forward to this for such a long time, I have 6 days left of my vacation and I can't play a game that I paid $400+ properly...
I'm afraid that as mentioned this isn't something we can assist with via the forums. You'll have to wait for a response from the team via email. In the meantime, you should be able to play Path of Exile 2's early access using the account you purchased the Liberator of Wraeclast Pack on by using the stand-alone client.
No I cant. It's on PS5. My kids have the PS5 occupied because its their winter vacation too... I can play on my PC but I can't connect my Steam account and here I am... Doesn't matter. I give up. My mistake.
If you purchased the Early Access Pack on PlayStation, that would only grant you access to play in the early access via PlayStation. You would need a PC access key to be able to play on PC.

If you purchased the pack for PC (such as via the website shop page) but your account does not have a login method for PC (such as if the account was originally created using PlayStation) then you can add a login method for PC (such as adding an email and password to the account) which would then allow you to play using the stand-alone client. You can manage this here.

I hope this helps.
