Make Orb of Alchemy more common
Transmute > Augment > Regal > Exalt > Exalt is already getting really boring.
Make Alchemy Orbs more common. If we disenchant a rare item with 4+ mods on it gives us alchemy shards instead of regal shards. At least then it'd feel like less of a waste when we fail at crafting for the 9,999th time in a row. Last bumped on Jan 2, 2025, 8:08:09 PM

They should make everything more common, including rare item drops.

Fine as in. No need to water down the pool. Plenty of ARPG are loot pinatas and can be played instead.

yeah i agree, we need more alchs.
the trans/aug/reg/ex method is very knowledge intensive, knowing what can roll, whats a good roll, whats worth using the next orb on, what are you looking for? its too much, most players dont understand the item system enough to really get to grips with that step by step crafting. to make matters worse the mod pool has way too much garbage in it right now with huge weighting towards utter shit mods. its like 1 out of 10 blue items is worth auging and 1 out of 10 augs hits something worth regaling then 1 out of 10 regals hits something where you would bother exalting... its too much. the mod pool right now is a disaster and its making this process really feels bad to engage with. a player understands im using a crossbow, i throw an alch on a crossbow and it gets some mods that are hopefully better than my current crossbow. people can understand that, this is where the game needs to be pitching a lot more of the crafting while levelling. in a game like poe2 where you are expecting decent items a player wears to have 3 out of 6 mods on the item be good mods then having a system where you apply mods 1 at a time and bail out if you hit a bad one is a really terrible way of doing it. the alch you just blast on 4-6 mods, there isnt all this bailing out on 100 items before they get to 4-6 mods because ur regal hit life regen for the 47th time in a row. theres a place for transregal, vets will use it. but its 95% of the crafting game right now and its diabolical. |
