whirling assault isn't affected by area increase gems

i put magnified effect and concentrated effect on the skill and didn't notice a change. makes me wonder if its also unaffected by passive tree nodes + pillar of the caged gods area increase as well. might be just visual? if its a bug and the area values really don't change then the skill is even more unusable

I can confirm that seemingly no area increases or strike range increases affect this skill. I specifically wanted to put together a giant whirlwind build but with testing, I found that the visual area coincides with the little strike sfx on enemies. I then stacked a multitude of attack area increases, strike range increase, slapped on both area support gems, and found absolutely no difference in the visual or effective striking of the ability.
