Not able to complete the una lute quest

I'm in act 1 one poe2 and on console and I tried to turn in the lute to una and it showed the book of specialization and then it just disappeared out of my inventory

Hi, I am in cruel mode and just had that book dissappear from my inventory as well. I didn't gain any points. It is just gone.

To further add, after the book is gone, the upper right of my screen still says "Speak to Una for a reward". I try talking to her and nothing happens. She is already holding her lute in her hands and sitting down.
