Physical goods items - customs clearance

Hello! After just 3 weeks the physical goods arrived at post, but only after 10 days they sent an email that it was actually held up there by the customs.

The reason why am I making this thread is to increase attention to my problem, if it could help. I have sent an email already to support@grindinggear.com, but I am afraid it will take a long time to get an answer and I need invoice for physical goods.

If I don't have an invoice, it's hard to declare the price of items and I haven't got any invoice anyway in my email for supporter pack, but the problem is also you pay % of the price. If you say you paid over USD 530 for that pack (including shipping), you'll need to pay price from that, even though it is including other goods, as microtransactions.

I'd be glad if someone who could help me on the email sees this or can forward it, or anything, really.

Thanks a lot.

Have a great day everyone who reads this. :-)

The shipping invoice should have been provided automatically to your customs digitally by our distribution partner. If you require assistance with this regardless, we would be happy to help you as much as we can. Unfortunately, we aren't able to assist with this issue over the forums. If you've already contacted us via email at support@grindinggear.com then as mentioned you'll need to wait for the appropriate team member to get back to you. We appreciate your patience!
I understand that, unfortunately, customs are only waiting until Jan 7th, then I pay for every day it's held up there and on Jan 15th it will be automatically either destroyed or shipped back to the sender.

Thanks, I will wait for some time and see what I can do. Otherwise I would need to pay customs and other fees of around USD 150, sadly.

Thank you though for the answer, hopefully it will be soon:-)
And for the future, I'd like to add info - it would be nice if the person receiving the goods would get an email with the same info as is in the package.

In case it's in the package, they might not open it right away (customs) - or if they know the info and I will provide them with something else, it will just open discussion and more problems.

The best way to avoid it would be sending the exact same info to the person receiving the package, through email or something.

That's all:-)
Yeah, good luck with that. I've sent support an email regarding the customs clearence on the 12th of December - I still don't have reply from them :)

I had to overpay a lot for the first package on the customs fees and it was calculated from the whole price of the supporter pack, not just the physical goods (T-shirt) in the package. The customs had no invoice from GGG/their distribution partner as is stated here.

And it was either "we will return it or destroy your item, or you provide invoice just for the physical goods, or you will pay the price based on the total amount you were charged".

So yeah I paid the full price, I really wanted the T-shirt and didn't want to deal with that crap around Christmas time - However, this was the most expensive t-shirt I have ever bought. "Thanks" GGG.

Awaiting a second delivery now (Hoodie, Art Book), which is from the more expensive supporter pack. Let's hope we will get our invoices soon...

All in all - if something does not change in near future, I think this was the last bigger supporter pack I bought. I really don't want to go through that experience again and have to rely on non-functional support to not pay absurd money on customs fees.
