Molten Blast stationary or moving?

Hello! I was wondering if while casting molten blast is your character consider "moving" due to the lunge that comes with use or are you considered stationary because it's not actually a movement input? Thanks for any info!

I can tell you it counts as moving, there's no way to stand still, you can forward throw or back step throw.

This interaction can be tested on King in the Mists fight, when he says "You are Seen" and you receive the red debuff under your feet, you are supposed to stand still, but if you are Molten Blasting during the debuff, it will freeze you.

On the opposite debuff "Keep Running" with the purple debuff, you are supposed to stay moving, and Molten Blast will prevent you from freezing untill it fades.

If ur looking to add some kind of buff to "increase while standing still" you can't. I am an expert Molten Blaster so I can confirm these statements

Another easy test is the Gifts from Above unique ring. It gives you Consecrated Ground while stationary.

Other skills that involve a movement of the character's feet seem to end the Consecrated Ground.
