Plague Bearer (Plague Nova) is missing many support gems.

Plague Bearer spirit gem gives the Plague Nova skill.
Plague Nova does a Physical damage Hit in a large area around the player.

However the number of support gems available to use for Plague Bearer is extremely limited and illogical.

For example the armour breaking gem "Splinter" is allowed but the armour break related gem "Exploit Weakness" is not allowed - despite both of those only requiring that the skill Hits enemies.

Please look into this issue, there is no reason why a generic Physical damage skill that Hits should have such a limited access to Support Gems.

Corrosion also doesn't work, although no restrictions should apply.

edit: same with Bursting Plague. Kinda sad, i think this skill could be pretty good with proper supports

Well, actually this skill scales very hard with levels. So giving it Physical Mastery and Chaos Mastery works wonders. Getting +1 Chaos Skills from the tree is also a possibility.

Additionally I use Astral Projection and Magnified Effect. In a dense map I can charge it with one Gas Arrow shot and basically ping-pong between the two. Great fun to use. Not sure what I would use as a 5th support. Maybe Expanse, but the 6s cooldown seems a bit much. Again, in a dense map I can charge it about every 1-2s. Conc. Effect could be an option for bosses but not for clear obviously.

The original issue of inconsistent rules for the supports remains, but there are actually some very good options available.
