minions getting stuck in doorways

hi ggg
even using the summon command they get stuck like this video in doorways. Only one made it through everyone is stuck top left.

They are working on a new support gem called "Power of Ozempic" that will allow minions to clear tight doorways.

The many maps with small bridges and doorways made me quit playing my minion infernalist.
Force respawning them by switching the weapon to a non-scepter is a workaround when you have a singular bridge or something, but when there is a doorway every 2 metres, it's not a viable workaround anymore.
Minion pathing needs to be improved.

Agreed. Weird part is that I can walk right through my minions, but they cannot walk through each other? I guess this is a very difficult thing to deal with, because if they didn't have collision with each other, they could stand on top of each other, creating a possibility to be abused...

Have 20 minions summoned, pull a boss to a doorway, and all 20 stand on each other in the opening. That needs to be kept from happening... but, they DO need to be able to get through doorways without blocking each other. No idea what the proper solution should be, but there needs to be one.

Creating flocks that prefer not to stand on top of themselves but can pass through each other is totally solved issue in 2025. Even the folks over at the Unity subreddit could implement it n

Yeah. They also need to buffed in both offence and defense in early leveling. They die WAY too fast.
I remember seeing this post 25 years ago.

Diablo 2 minion necro playthrough like:
act 1: 5 hours.
act 2: 27 hours (10 maggot lair, 10 arcane sanctuary).
act 3: 5 hours.
Act 4: 5 hours (4 spent killing izule).
I literally lost count how many times this has caused my death and lost maps...
im running a minion build but my army is running BEHIND me? why is it so hard for them to reduce the collision size between minions and reduce collisions size with enviroment. this is literally a 10 minute fix. it doesnt have to be perfect instantly. but they can fix it. we get some minion clipping but would make it playable

They de-summon fairly fast if you're simply walking off screen,

Get stuck on bridges similar to doorways,

Won't enter boss arenas in certain spots (crowbell for example)

Summon Command will cause them to stop attacking/stand still for a few seconds if you use it near an enemy rather than on an enemy
