Chaos Trial After Host Dies
I was running the Chaos trial with a friend. They opened it. They died on the 9th trial, but I got through. They revived and then left party as they can no longer interact with the Chaos trial. I attempted to continue the trial but was met with the below interaction noting I could not continue "You must be the map owner to do this."
It feels pretty bad to make it through the trial and then not be able to continue because someone else opened the trial and died. I would still have to beat the remaining content scaled for two people as one person. I think it feels especially bad since we would otherwise both ascend if we had both made it through sending a bit of a mixed message on if Chaos Trials should be a one player or multiplayer experience. Please let me know if I have misunderstood the system. I really appreciate all the hard work you all put into the game. It shows and I have loved playing it. Hoping the feedback is helpful in some way and you have a wonderful day or night respectively. Last bumped on Jan 5, 2025, 1:21:26 AM

" Oof. That's one way to say your friend is bad at this game. |

The content does not scale back to one person difficulty as far as I know, so this was more a statement of fact of the situation. They happened to get popped in this instance. I've had it happen to me as well and honestly more often then them. This was not a comment on their ability.

from my experience the game really hates group play. I'll give them the benefit of doubt that the game is very early access and with enough dosage of copium that there is couch coop they should want to make group play a little better eventually.
From campaign the game teaches you to rez your group mates After campaign rez is not a thing, the game is much more difficult due to visual noise from more than yourself and body blocking and gives nothing in return. Loot is also decreased because now you have to share with your group, it makes the game alot worse when you're playing on a trade league because your income has just halved. |
