map device did not work after changing the league from HCSSF to SFF

Hello, I have a problem with my character, I died from the HC SSF league and dropped to regular SSF. Now the map device doesn't work, how do I fix it?

Are you trying to use the map device in your hideout or in the Ziggurat Refuge?

While I'm not sure if it's different for HC characters that die and get sent to softcore, some people have been mentioning that characters other than their first still have to run a map at the Ziggurat Refuge before they can run maps from the hideout.

I checked, it doesn't work anywhere.
