Citadels sometimes spawn under terrain and are barely visible

Been looking for citadels for a while, then accidentally completed one (got a "quest completed" notif). Checked out the map - and the citadel is placed under mountains terrain and you can barely see it.
It would be nice for citadels to be more visible.
This issue is also reproducible for regular map point models, but it's the most annoying with the citadels.
