Ketzuli Checkpoint Not Working

Each time I die on the Ketzuli fight in Act 3, I am unable to respawn at the boss checkpoint even though the torch is lit. I always respawn on the first floor. When clicking the first floor checkpoint and then clicking on the boss checkpoint, it does nothing.
