Map cannot progress further? (Bricked Atlas Map)

I've cleared my map nodes to every edge of my Map Device. I have not cleared every single node, but enough to have removed all the fog along the edges and see other nodes beyond my reach. I cannot find any more connecting lines for my map to progress further. I see more map nodes beyond water, behind mountains, behind the burning monolith, etc. BUT there are NO connecting lines to them. Is this a bug? Is my map broken and I will eventually clear all my connected map nodes and be unable to progress further? Or will new connecting lines appear as I clear more nodes?

Update: I have found other forum posts and redditors confirming this problem. In fact many of us have the exact same bricked atlas map seed. One of the redditors messaged me that he is personally getting RHYS with GGG support to reset his atlas map for him. Hopeful for an atlas reset button or resolution soon as I would like to progress my account. IGN SolisMorta
