Request to Lift Mute on My Account and Clarify Rules

Dear Customer Support Team,

My account was muted again on today, and I believe this might be due to posting trading-related messages in the global chat. However, I have observed that other players frequently post similar messages in the same chat, yet their accounts do not appear to be muted.
such messages are generally considered acceptable, and I haven’t found any clear rules prohibiting this behavior. This makes me feel confused and unfairly treated, as it seems that only my account has been muted. This has happened more than once, and I’d like to understand why.

Here are my concerns and requests:

Could you please clarify the specific reason for my account being muted and what rule I violated?

Why are other players posting similar messages seemingly not being subjected to the same action?

I kindly request a review of my account status and the lifting of the mute if possible.
I already send a email to the GGG support email box.

I truly enjoy playing this game and have always aimed to follow its rules. If there’s anything I might have done wrong unknowingly, I would appreciate a detailed explanation so I can avoid such issues in the future.

Thank you for taking the time to address my concerns. I look forward to your reply.

Best regards,

Hey there,

If you've already contacted us via email at support@grindinggear.com then I'm afraid you'll need to wait for the appropriate team member to get back to you. We're currently handling a large volume of tickets right now so we really appreciate your patience in the meantime!

As a note, please don't send additional or follow-up emails, Support will get to you as soon as possible.

Trading in global has always been treated as spam when reported. That's pretty much it, don't trade in global and you won't have this issue.

There are trolls that enjoy sitting around and reporting anything and everything they can, please don't feed them. :)
Just a lowly standard player. May RNGesus be with you.

Thank you for your response. I noticed that the global chat is often flooded with trading messages, yet many of those users don’t seem to face any issues. This makes me wonder if automated systems or bots operated by other studios might be selectively reporting messages, perhaps to reduce competition. If everyone’s messages were being reported equally, the global chat would probably be much quieter by now. This is just my perspective, and I’m not entirely sure how the reporting mechanism works.how the rule is used by people doing the same thing like me
almost all moderation done through game chat is through player reports, GGG don't have the time to just sit there and monitor all the channels, so for them it is just a case of logging in and going through the backlog of reports they have.

Most mutes start off small, then double each time you get muted.
Could also be related to your character/account names attracting people attention and reporting you....self inflicted there tbh though.

Thanks for the explanation. I’m not in the English chat, and my character name isn’t something people would normally report. I think it was reported by bot from gear-farming studios.

They don't know what they're talking about, but they're both able and compelled to speak anyway.

There is no rhyme or reason to Locks, let alone mutes. There is no system of gradually worsening consequences in place. My first punishment was a 168-hour complete account Lockout. Never a single warning. It came within seconds of the comment I'd made in #global that was cited as the culprit, which was and is an objective fact. Another objective fact is some people have been waiting for over 30 days for a response -- let alone receive help!
