Endgame maps

If i am currently on a certain node on the endgame map, why can't I go back to a previously adjacent completed(green) node and do it again?

If i click on an adjacent green node, i don't get the traverse option

You already killed all corrupted rares there, no point going back. Move on to the next area.

Even if you could redo that node, it wont have any league mechanics, which is more than half your loot in many cases, you can't use the towers again to place new ones on, its not worth your time.

You want to avoid doing nodes without anything on them as much as possible in the current state of the game, and only do them if it means taking the shortest path possible to a tower so you can actually place them on nodes.

This is not about killing rares or optimizing the loot, it is about navigating on the endgame map

You can use a waystone on any node connected to one you already completed, it doesn't have to be adjacent to the one you just completed.
