I think we're playing this game in the wrong way
It may sound weird, but I think the 'fault' for the problems in the game right now is on the players.
I agree with pretty much all the complains on the forum and I also have a lot of complains. But we are all referring to them as 'the problems with poe2' And this is not poe2. It's poe2 early access. If you want, you can view it as an advanced stage of proof of concept. We should explore it to get a feel and when we hit some kind of 'wall' we should give the feedback but stop playing until it gets fixed. Right now we are collectively trying to play this early access pretty much in the same manner as we play Poe 1. Maybe it's just about seeing what is it about at this moment of development, give feedback and come back after a while. The advancement of the community in the game is clearly outpacing the patching rate. And instead of going 'i feel like rage quitting', maybe we should actually stop playing and check for new updates from time to time. As it is now, the game doesn't seem to be in a 'fun experience' state from a lot of angles and maybe that's ok. It sucks big time, maybe the early access was released too early and releasing it just before the vacation killed so much of the vibe but for reasons outside of our view as players, it had to be this way and we just have to cope with it. I'm trying to get myself to just see it as a sneak peak for the moment. Cause after 60 levels of hcssf in poe2 I went to try again poe1. And omg you have quicksilver. Your can have multiple of them. And dash. With the short cooldown. And minions have room to move. It's so fluid. And it's just hard to think that those that were able to make that will just leave poe2 as a bodyblock fest. I get the feeling it will get heavily optimised eventually and we should just mess around a bit to see the idea and take a break when it stops being fun Last edited by HororoKhan#4378 on Jan 5, 2025, 3:25:38 PM Last bumped on Jan 5, 2025, 8:20:18 PM

I think some people are playing the game too much, which is very in line with this post.
If something is broken, post feedback and stop playing, is actually great advice. |
