POE2 Raise Shield Keybind

I have been playing Path of Exile 2 switching between PC and the Steam Deck (POE2 runs unbelievably well btw, THANK YOU!!!). The only bug that I've consistently noticed and has affected my gameplay is the binding of Raise Shield on the warrior. I have it bound to L1 on my Steam Deck and it is automatically removed each time I change maps or die or fast travel between checkpoints. To resolve this, I have to rebind it and then switch my weapons and then click L1 for it to accept the binding. From there, everything flows smoothly on the same map as long as I don't die.
