chat delay

was trading with someone who realized they couldn't use the item after we traded and tried to trade it back. it seems all the while they were trying to explain the situation to me, but i didn't get a whole section of their chat messages until a few minutes later. once i left party i was able to see his messages again in real time, but his original messages came in around 8 minutes after our transaction
