Immense QoL fix for the movement of Tempest Flurry
Hey there, the game is very fun.
I like PoE2 a lot. BUT: Image: https://imgur.com/a/5MEmVhe Video: https://streamable.com/6w1vut Hello! I’ve been thoroughly enjoying PoE2—it’s a fantastic game with so much to offer. However, I wanted to share some feedback about an issue I’ve encountered with a particular movement skill. This skill seems to get stuck on nearly every object or particle in the game. Whether it’s chests, small stones, trees, or even edges of pathways, the ability halts whenever it interacts with any obstacle, no matter how minor. The frequency of these interruptions varies by map, but even in relatively open areas, it happens often enough to disrupt the flow of gameplay. From what I can tell, the issue seems to be tied to the movement tag of the ability. It behaves as though these objects are the "edge of the map," causing it to stop entirely when encountering them. If the movement tag could be adjusted to allow smoother navigation around objects, it would be a significant improvement. This change would not only enhance the fluidity of gameplay but also increase the quality of life for all players using this skill—especially since it’s tied to one of the game’s most popular classes. Thank you so much for taking the time to consider this feedback. I truly appreciate the effort and dedication you put into making PoE2 such an incredible experience for everyone! TL;DR: Tempest Flurry gets stuck on small objects due to its movement tag, disrupting gameplay. Adjusting this would improve fluidity and player experience, especially for a popular class. Had the same problem, swapped over to ice strike and now i have another problem which is that if i have something targeted with my mouse farther away which is out of the distant of jump and a monster is between us it does nothing which is horrible when there is about 100 monsters on the screen. Tryed swapping around with move without attacking and such but cant get it to feel good. |

Bump.
This is the most frustrating part about this skill in endgame. It reminds me of POE 1 cyclone prior to the fixes. I like to play glass cannon builds and if I stop on a juiced map I'm dead. |

There needs to be a comprehensive reevaluation of how movement works with all melee skills.
It's worth noting that +2 maps are a dangerous thing.
They can cause players to get out of their depth - playing maps that are too hard for the items they currently have. Herp Derp. |

its so frustrating that i dont want to map at all with it

Been playing attribute stacker gemling with this and it's extremely cancerous. I believe over 90% of my deaths were due to some pebble in the way.
I can't imagine how warrior must feel with stampede... IGN Essence: Shootyah

+1, Same issues. Just swapped to this build and it gets stuck on the smallest things. Also on small pathways and small bridges my character wont even traverse them

+1 this is a HUGE potential for QoL improvement and when it's your main skill it makes me want to pull my hair out as many maps have small rocks or pebbles and it's so aggravating
