Weapon Set passives that I refunded are now missing unable to be used

I just refunded 4 passive points from weapon set one and they have disappeared. I am unable to use them and it shows 0 skill points available. Weapon set two shows 9 out of 24 used, but weapon set one shows 5 out of 24 used and I am unable to allocate those 4 refunded at all. I've tried exiting the game and that did not fix it.

Has anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it? I tried refunding all weapon set points available and it works for weapon set two, but it shows only 20 out of 24 available for weapon set one as those initial 4 are nowhere to be found.

This is not a bug, you are confused on how the system works. You only see available skill points if a point is not allocated to either weapon set (when it is free to be used as a 'normal' point). However, you can still allocate the point to the other weapon set even if it doesnt show a free point in the UI.

Example:
1. I use an item to gain 2 weapon set skill points.
2. The UI shows 2 skill points available.
3. I apply these points to Weapon Set 1.
4. The UI now shows I have no skill points available.
5. Despite the UI not showing available skill points, I can still apply two points on Weapon Set 2.

tldr: go try and apply skill points to your other weapon set until the "X out of Y" values are equal. It will work regardless of what the UI says on available points.
