Issue with mana flask damaging my energy shield and also causes mana to go down

I leveled up just now and then when I go and use my mana flask, my energy shield gets damaged AND my mana actually goes down (lol)! No, I don't have % recovered taken from life or whatever that mod is, just an instant recovery mana flask. Please fix, this is bricking my build!

same. im using chaos inoculation and eternal youth, and using my flasks takes my ES down to half, and no longer heals my ES

Ok, I played around with my skill tree and it has something to do with the weapon sets having different attributes allocated. When I set the tree for both weapon sets to be exactly the same, the issue goes away. Sucks for those that use 2 weapon sets I guess lol.
