Trial of Chaos Max resistance debuff bug

after taking the "-20% max resistance, - 30% all resistance" debuff during trial of chaos, the character screen indicates my resistances are higher than my original max resistance.

Normal resistances are:
Fire 76 (114)
Cold 77 (140)
Lightning 77 (108)

Resistances after debuff are:
Fire 84 (84)
Cold 90 (110)
Lightning 78 (78)

I'm not sure if it's just a visual bug or if the game actually gave me increased resistances. I took screenshots but i'm not sure how to upload them. Also, sorry for raining on anyone's parade if we were actually getting buffed from this.

Update

I tried to replicate it and it seemed to work properly when i took the first one. the bug happened when i selected the tier 2 debuff which is the -20 max, - 30 all res.
