Strugglescream amulet - simulacrum

It is a really rare drop, I got like 2 of those from 60 t5 simulacrums.

But the amulet is meh, 2 extra annoints? Instead of 6 stats on a rare amulet?

Can you find a single annoint worth a single maxroll stat even on the tree? Tree passive give +25 stat, when your amulet can give you 48 stat and multiply this by 3.

I feel like it would be underwhelming with 3 annoints, and maybe something to consider with 4, for some builds but, is not it just garbage unique at this stage?

Can't you anoint it then vaal orb it and potentially get a decent rare amulet with 3 anoints, something that can be insanely strong?

Can anyone confirm this please? with a link, screenshot or anything

In POE1 the unique could turn into rare item with vaal orb, but this is not the case in poe2. I only know of a mask from trialmaster that works that way.
