Can't whisper - Must be in game to use this feature-PS5

I cannot whisper to trade. I originally bought the early pass on site for PS5 which was an error. I proceedede to buy the pass on PS5 and got refunded for the one on site. I linked both accounts on site. Unfortunately, the site does not seem to recognize that I have the early access pass and always directs me back to PO1 which I have never played. I tried switching the accounts, going on PS5 or site. Nothing works. Also, I cannot see my 3 characters on either account. Consequently, i receive the message ''your account must be in game to use this feature''. This is extremely frustrating ad it has really slowed my progression. I have contacted support but haven't received a response in over a week.

Update, this morning only my merc appears on the account on site. So messed up.

Anybody have any ideas how to resolve.

Same for me on XBOX...VERY aggravating.

Likewise on Xbox, VERY annoying seenig as its feeling kinda selelctive.

I'm also having these exact same problems. I played a little POE though. I haven't been able to trade on the website for POE2. We're missing out on a huge resource with the whispers being down.

Can not direct whisper, says I'm not in game.
Can not direct message I can only message support.

Also, can not see my characters from POE or POE2.

When it says "You must be online," it means you need to be logged in with your account and the same character in the game, just like when you're logged in on the Path of Exile website (https://pathofexile.com/trade2).

Once you're logged in this way, you can whisper, join parties, trade, and so on. I was confused by this at first too, but it works for everyone once you get the hang of it.

Easy: You must be online with the same Acc and ID, Character + trading site. 100% function

In the original post it states that the OP is logged in.

This issue is still pending resolution from Support.

Same for me on PS5
