Charm Slot Idea - Anointments
Removing charm slots as a suffix (which feels bad compared to resistances) a possible solution could be a recipe to anoint +1 slot and a recipe to anoint +2 slots on belts.
This would create 2 benefits: 1) increase the value of delirium which feels less valuable compared to other league mechanics. As upgraded belts are found more distilled emotions would still be required which would continue to make distilled emotions valuable. 2) allow for belts to be a bit more exciting and +2 charm slots to not feel as bad of a trade off Last bumped on Jan 12, 2025, 8:51:20 PM

Minor anoint effects on charms sounds like an excellent sink for oils.
I do not think the belts should have that anoint thing - instead I think belt bases should include extra charm slot bases. |

Make big flash on icon when active. Make it obvious. Make max number of charms 5. OR heck, you 4, and you only get a 5th by giving up health/mana potion or something. I dunno. Lots can be done. Def make the annoint +2 charms and not +1 though. That's a FANTASTIC start.

I know it is probably a bit undercooked/half baked and may not be integrated into a “realism” approach the devs try to strive for, and may not be the best solution at all, but I’d love to see more deterministic player approaches to certain aspects of crafting and I’d love to see more uses for distilled emotions. |
