Monk ability ask.

Before i start if by chance a ggg person reads this.
The information session today was nice to see.
Frickin informative and Fricken good to know what the Frickin roadmap is.

I like the monk I feel there is one part of the monk ansenal that is missing.
The good ole subzero "Get Over Here".

An Aoe effect that can gather mobs in the radius on top of the monk .

The intent is to get a combination leading to a death ball explosion.
The flicker strike might be one way to screen attack but a little too bouncy for me.

I would envision a combination of

1)Get a chunk of mobs on screen
2)Use the skill .. perhaps it is a charge up ability
3)Mobs are all pulled on top of the monk ...

Perhaps there is a bell already on the ground ... or 2 ..
Perhaps it will lead to a Nova Explosion.
Perhaps it is a pull into a cloud of death.
Perhaps it is a buildup to the multi hit spin attack.
Perhaps combined with astral projection ..or whatever to initiate the pull someplace else as the center.
Perhaps it should work on your own minions, or corpses...

Looking for game play that allows a pull into an explosion
a pull into a death effect.
a pull into a close range multi hit like flicker strike combined with AOE.

Give it a good animation .. perhaps a moment of imunity frame to facilitate a combo .. or have it have a high daze possibility as the mobs are gathered.

anyway some feedback on a skill i think would lead to satisfying game play and many combo opportunities.. the inverted knock back, in fact perhaps the addition of a skill support that could change a knock back skill into an inverted form.
In fact having an gem that just inverted skills might be something in itself....

I know im using the Monk as the example, but such a skill would really be fun on
Warrior or any class really .. but id make the stat requirement lean heavily into melee, or sit in the passive tree someplace sort of East South East making it more accessible to Melee.

Again that was great feedback today.

For Starters its Scorpion that says get over here and hooks people in.

a Vortex for monks would be nice, but then other classes could use it as well, as its a skill, and some classes would be insanely broken with a vortex.

also some mobs would be down right suicidal if your vortexed them in,
mobs with windups for instance that are interupted with knockbacks etc...

i think there was a Unique in POE1 that sucked mobs to the target, could be a good work around.

They did say the next patch is reworking a LOT of uniques to be more benificial, so maybe they might add something like this.

Sorry man been like ..well ... whatever... but the move stands...

Instead of my skills going screen wide boom ...
we could bring the screen to me ... that way its a more condensed boom .. less visual effects. Also opens up some potential fun , may even offer a way to get minions unstuck :)

It's a setup move right.
It a leadup to a combo .. so it will take a little time, a little thought and then a satisfying conclusion... the kind of crap we love yeah ...

Charge it , move , dodge , dodge , setup , gather , BOOM!
Move and evade long enough to set the trap, execute , high five the dopamine fairy , repeat.

I think like axes or maces should have a “get over here” chain move and a vortex for a cold DOT CC as a spell or something sounds good.
