Can't migrate from SSF, please help

I just can't migrate my character, I started ssf only because it says in the game that I can migrate at ANY MOMENT if I so wish.
I got to endgame and now the game is terrible to get gear...simple fix, go to trade league. Except I can't.
Now I have my favorite character locked into the infinite cycle of picking up every decent base and slaming in the hopes something good comes out. Problem is I already have good gear from hours into sff, so to get something great it is almost impossible.
Please help me, I just want to play my character in trade.
