Suggestion: Support Gem Assignment for Weapon Sets

Path of Exile 2 introduces a great feature with weapon sets, allowing players to assign different skills and passives to Set 1 and Set 2, switching between them during combat based on the situation. However, the current system lacks an option to assign support gems specifically to each weapon set, which can be limiting in certain scenarios, like swapping supports for a boss fight.

My suggestion:

Introduce a second row for support gems on skill gems.

By default, this second row duplicates the existing support gems for a skill.

When activated, the second row becomes exclusive to Weapon Set 2, while the existing row applies to Weapon Set 1.

Support gems in the second row would be socketed separately and would not share a pool with gems in Weapon Set 1, allowing for "duplicates".

This feature would give players more flexibility and strategic options, enhancing gameplay and making weapon set switching more impactful.

Yes, that would be good. I'd try a frost/fire sorceress but so far I can't because I need basically all skill slots for the frost skills.
