New Idea: Target Dummy
I was thinking about adding an NPC to hideouts with a "target dummy" functionality.
For example, its resistances, HP, and other attributes could be fully customizable, and it could display a boss-like HP bar with DPS tracking. This would be a great opportunity to test your effective DPS on a full combo and evaluate the real usability of your build. What do you think? Last bumped on Jan 13, 2025, 9:13:37 AM

Completely agree with that. It exists in Grim Dawn and it's perfect to see in real time what changes your gear/skills do

Not a new idea, and GGG already said they're not going to do this.

" Too bad. Sounds like good feature to me. You still have numeric values in the skill panel but it often doesn't describe real time DPS when you use more then one skill (and adding this DPSs when you have triggered skills doesn't do the trick). |

" I remember Ziz asking Jonathon this and Jonathon just seemed confused on what to set the target dummy as. Ziz mentioned after the interview how baffled he was that Jonathon didnt get players could just set the dummy to whatever parameters they wanted. One cannot help but wonder how such a lust for loot can affect a persons mind. Although these exiles appear to be our salvation, it would not take much for them to turn on us as easily as they fight gods and demons.
