Idea for minions getting stuck in doors

During the recent interview Mark mentioned minions teleporting to your location instantly, bypassing the revive timer as a possible fix for the issues of pathing with minions in tight spaces. This gave me an idea that I think would work out even better.

How about adding a skill gem/spell that summons your active minions to your location. It could start at level 1 summoning 2 minions for 10 mana. Then whith each additional skill level it summons 1 additional minion for 10 more mana.

This would solve the issue of minions getting stuck, or just generally not sticking close enough to you sometimes, and could also have some defensive benefit as I've definitely died a few times being pinned in a corner while my minions were fighting on the other side of the room. It would also add an active element to a class/playstyle that's currently extremely passive.

It would appear I did >.< I never played a minion build in poe1 so didn't realize it existed. That spell would fix the pathing issues minions have on some maps
This has bugged me so much that I stopped playing at level 96.
I thought of 3 solutions;
1: Give us convocation, as you also suggested.
2: Set minion collision size with each other to 0 so they can stand in the same spot.
3: Have them teleport to you instead of die and respawn once you are out of range of them, which you say Mark has mentioned. (YAY)
Looking forward to coming back for 0.1.1 now.
