Additional league info for noobs please
My LVL 73 Monk was essentially SSF as I have not traded at all. I didn't have enough information to make an informed decision at the start.
At character selection I read ~SSF prevents you from trading~ Well, no use limiting my options right? I'll go standard league I guess... I learn 100 hours later that drop rates are reduced in standard league because trade is assumed. Clearer descriptions of leagues and how they work would help first time players make informed decisions at character creation. Thanks. Last bumped on Jan 13, 2025, 1:14:31 PM

No... the drop rates are the same, I don't know who told you so

Hmm, maybe I am wrong. Why have a different league at all then?

" Because people wanted the bragging rights to say they hit level 100, did 40/40 challenges or whatever other milestone that matters to them without trading. |

" Look, it's just a challenge league for people who thought trading made the game too easy but hardcore is just too difficult/not for them. |
|
" SC / HC and trade / SSF are 2 completely different things. Which is why HCSSF exists. |

Thanks for the info. Still would be useful to have more info at character creation. I've seen plenty of people wondering how leagues work, their purpose etc.

" Yeah I think its fair feedback, but I can confirm that drops are the same in ssf as in standard. So you probably did the right call making your first character on standard. |
