Rarity solution is simple: Stop making it affect currency.
It can be an axis like you want to help find better Tiered rare gear and perhaps more uniques, but making it affect currency simply makes it a mandatory stat for endgame, rather than an axis to explore.

" Im pretty sure even if they added the change your suggesting people would still use rarity, because when your farming high end maps alot of the currency you make are from selling tiered gear that roll good. I personally dont think theres any problem with rarity atm, but I also dont feel that strongly about it, if theres rarity then I will use it and if they removed it I would replace it with whatever the next best stat is. | |
Game would be even more of a dopamine wasteland with that change, currency drops across the board at 0 rarity are awful, not even sustainable when rolling your maps takes multiple exalts, let alone trying to "Craft" gear.
Naw fam, they can remove it if they buff the currency drop rate hard, as it sits now it feels fine with rarity. |

" Exactly. That is my point. I am not trying to destroy rarity or it having a purpose. I am trying to stop it being mandatory as a stat towards sustaining higher end currency and it affecting currency in the way it does, whereby it upgrading lower end currency, it acts as a form of pseudo quantity factor, like discussed yesterday on the stream. If it simply doesn't affect currency, then its still an option for those that like to improve their groundloot options, but its not a necessary stat where everyone loses out by not having it. Currently, if you aren't running rarity, you are simply losing out on better and more relevant currency. That is simply a fact. Last edited by Heelydon#1580 on Jan 13, 2025, 2:08:46 PM

" Dopamine wasteland? How can you possibly say that. Have you ever opened a breach before? Anyone with a mildly functioning build is having plenty of opportunity to get some good exciting moments, particularly with Breach in its current state. You having rarity become a mandatory stat is not an improvement on the game in any meaningful way. It simply just forces you to play a stat or lose out. |
