Auto Pickup Currency, Please I'm Begging You

See title. To set the stage:

I was running maps last night before bed, and decided to run one last map before calling it. I had a nice atlas node with a breach that I had boosted to ninety some percent increased quantity. I put in a decent map that had quantity/rarity/rare monsters and maxed it out with mods and delirium (I've taken all the atlas passives that boost maps based on number of modifiers).

So getting into the map it's something like ~220% quantity, ~150% rarity, ~100% extra rare monsters, on top of my character having ~200 rarity to go with it. And I hit the 2% chance breach passive to spawn 10 breaches in the map. Clearing the map and all the breaches didn't take long, 10 minutes or so.

But my god the amount of loot that dropped was completely insane. I have a super strict filter setup, and I still just had to give up on items and focus only on currency.

Because of how much loot was on the ground, all the item tooltips locations were screwed up. Shard drops were several screens away from where the icon appeared to pick up shards. It took me an hour to pick just the currency up. Doing nothing but clicking on shards, I didn't even bother with the non currency loot, there was too much. The final numbers after everything:

3 divines
761 breach shards
More than 150 exalted, regal, vaal, and alchemy orbs (I lost count, sorry)

It is completely insane that we have to pick up currency one orb/shard at a time when you can run maps that drop a thousand of them. I shouldn't be needing to spend an hour just picking up currency drops. It wouldn't be hard to have some sort of toggle that you auto pick up every currency rarer some currency that you select in the settings. Or have it tied to your filter where you auto pick up every currency drop that your filter lets through. Because having to click every single orb by hand -sucks-.

We don't have the technology for that yet.
The game auto picks up gold already though :(
GGG should just make the characters full automatic. Just sit on the couch drinking coco milk watching my favorite weeb stories as my "character " make me poe 2 rich.

I'm just asking to be able to actually spend my time playing the game. The clearing of the map (i.e., the gameplay) took 10-15 minutes. The aftermath shouldn't take hours. But it does because the system is unbelievably clunky. Why am I forced to click orbs one a time 1000 times? Why does the indicator/icon for loot show loot 5 screens away that you have to path back and forth over and over and over just to pick up 3 different drops that were all in the same spot? It's a waste of time that doesn't need to exist.
PoE 2 was supposed to address the loot clutter mess. It has the exact same problem POE 1 had. I also did a 10 portal breach map recently and having to try to figure out where the loot is to pick it up is awful.

It was such a pain, my screen basically exploded with an ultra strict filter. The game straight up crashed when I hit alt by accident and showed every drop. I'd probably still be sitting in that instance from yesterday if I had tried to pick up the actual item drops, even if I restricted myself to expert tier 2 and higher. There were tens of thousands of item drops in that map alone because I had juiced it so high and it hit the 10 breach spawn.
Imagine a pet that could pick that up... THERES NO SUCH TECHNOLOGY AT GGG!

Also right click pet to open option to pick up Orb Of Altercation and such waste of time

Woah, what a great idea! It's amazing no ARPG has done this before and demonstrated how useful this feature could be in saving people time and a lot of useless clicks so they can focus on the game itself. Genius!
