Just limit your CPU. It's not GGG fault that your hardware can't handle such usage.

well since it's a 9800 X3d with 64GB of corsair dominator ram along with a 3090, i don't think it's the CPU limit...although i did try limiting it in the power profile previously, thanks for the suggestion!

I DID limit the total CPU usage and DID state i have to limit the cores in the opening thread...

this post wasn't for you as you aren't going to be able to do anything to fix it.

There's a 400 page thread in the bug reports section about the crashing issues. It's a -very- widespread problem.

My game crashed for days every 10 min and i tried everything. Was able to fix it by uninstalling the current driver.

The issue was a damaged driver setup from nvidia, which was caused by the auto optimization tool of nvidia "game ready".

Installing the latest beta version did NOT fix it, instead uninstall every NVIDIA program and reinstall it clean did the trick.

The error for DirectX was

And for vulkan

vk::Device::waitForFences: ErrorDeviceLost

When the error occurred it was a sudden spike in GPU 3D in the windows task manager.


After that everything went smoothly, if this doesn't help you please report your error log.
