Suggestion: Pay gold to try failed maps again

Jonathan talked about them not wanting to enable the use of additional waystones to retry maps you died in - due to possibly screwing up the map economy.

How about using gold to accomplish this? Now gold just sits around gathering dust most of time, unless you spam-gamble or respec?
