Keep the portals, stop removing modifiers on crash

The second map in a row, PoE2 has frozen while running a juiced t15 breach. When your client freezes during a breach you have two options - close the game or alt-f4. When you do that, the game kills any progress you've made, wipes your inventory to pre-map status and to add insult to injury, it also uses up the map attempt, so you lose your modifiers and your breach and boss slots as well.

If we're resetting our inventory back to pre-mapping state can you just give us the map back and leave the boss/breach modifiers on the tile? There's no reason to leave a 'map attempted' there. Why am I being penalized for enjoying the game?

It's really annoying to lose your items and the map modifiers because there's no safe way to exit during a client freeze. I understand you're testing the game and want it to be great at release. I also understand the hardcore philosophy of losing all portals on death. It's a great hardcore change in theory - but during early access I shouldn't be penalized because the game simply can't handle T15 maps properly.

If you were worried about abuse - you could simply kill portals on server disconnect like PoE1 until you get the bugs sorted out.
